Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actress and performer from America. Her best-recognition was for her performances in Nashville in the 2012 drama in which she played Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013, where she was Claudia Shepard. In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She has a younger sister Ally. Aubrey appeared at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her teens for a period of about 10 years. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was the class's valedictory speech in 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she had to agree on her entry again the second time due to her Nashville role. Peeples was a part of Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally and Ally Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) & NecessaryRoughness (1991) as the Guest Star. The actress was also in two television-based movies: Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She was a part of the cast for a major recurring role in a second season of the show drama Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder during an interview in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples in September 2014 as one of the top American young actors.
